Distribution Transformers
Distribution transformers are mainly responsible for stepping down the medium voltage to low voltage to distribute electrical energy to end-users. The general features of distribution transformers are as follovvs:
- They are generally produced up to 3150 kVA povver and 52 kV voltage level.
- They are manufactured in ONAN, ONAF, or KNAN cooling types.
- They can be used as single-phase or three-phase.
- They are produced as hermetic, air or gas cushioned, and stored.
- They are manufactured with porcelain insulators or plug-in bushings.
- They are typically produced with mineral oil, with or vvithout additives. Synthetic esters, silicone, and vegetable oils can also be used according to customer demand
